Abstract:	In order to collaborate with the rupture of the models of occupations in risk areas and also of resettlements to areas with lower habitability, urbanistly precarious, with low functional diversity and broad social homogeneity, this dissertation aims to understand to what extent the syntactic (intrinsic) and semantic (asperable) aspects of resettlement processes in Amazonian city can influence the formation of places with adequate housing and more urbanity , referencing them in local and global contexts. The central question of the study corresponds to the question: How do resettlements for housing estates affect amazonian populations and what is the potential of this solution? A current regional panorama is developed, relating historical, demographic, syntactic and sociological data, capable of representing a sample of Amazonian city sums, especially regarding the sociological and functional dimensions of architecture. Uniform aspects of these polis emerge from the stage, as well as the regional singularities and particularities of Rio Branco, which is also studied in terms of its diachronic evolution, in search of subsidies from the local historical dynamics. In the municipal scale, the uses and average nominal income are analyzed and, in the housing enterprise, the public uses and equipment, income and education of the subjects, among others, in addition to the configurational approach, producing evaluation indicators. The urban configuration is read through the theoretical and methodological framework of spatial syntax theory (TSE), combining with the evaluation of urban well-being and the basic elements for housing adequacy. For contextualization, the implications of cultural traditions in amazonian territorial and urban constitutions are studied, the identification of socio-spatial patterns in the cities of the region is explored, the idiosyncrasies of Rio Branco that affect the urban and social conformation are explored and the urban insertion of the Minha Casa Minha Vida I and II Programs in Rio Branco is analyzed, characterizing the urban impact especially regarding the patterns of socio-spatial segregation and the conditions of effective development. The product collaborates to the understanding of Amazonian urban regularities and local singularities, revealing that there is no exclusive subjugation to the economic dynamics, that there are correlations between configuration and socio-economy, that regional traditions have knowledge about resilient practices and that displacements do not necessarily antagonize fairer societies.
