Abstract:	Introduction: This dissertation seeks to study the relationship between climate change and human health as a bioethical issue crossed by geopolitical inequalities. Objective: To critically analyze the effects on human health caused by climate change presented by the IPCC - Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - promoted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP/UN), taking as conceptual reference some categories of the epistemological framework of Intervention Bioethics. Method: This is a theoretical research, with document analysis and critical reading of the Evaluation Report No. 5 of 2014 of Working Group II of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, taking as epistemological reference categories proposed by Intervention Bioethics. Results: Climate change causes negative impacts on human health, impacts that are unevenly distributed around the world, affecting peripheral regions more sharply than central regions. The study shows, then, how these differentiated impacts are articulated from the referentials of the "life coloniality" and “moral imperialism”, in which peripheral lives are considered ontologically less valuable than central lives. Discussion: Climate change is a global problem that calls into question the paths currently taken by societies with economic and political power. This study takes the Intervention Bioethics as a theoretical and applied tool able to demystify the erroneous idea related to a possible equal universal distribution of its impacts on human health, exposing and discussing the geopolitical clipping of these impacts and how they operate within a logic of devaluation of the life of the peripheral populations. Final considerations: It is clearly noted the need for greenhouse gas emissions to be thought of in geopolitical terms as well as in terms of social class, considering that both situations are intertwined in the economic structuring of a globalized world.
