Abstract:	The present study analyzes the self-perception of social education workers in Federal District starting from a formation course on drugs and human rights. Also, this work sought to identifing social demographic characteristics of networking and work conditions and analyzes the training process in which these workers are involved, besides personal and professional satisfaction related to their jobs. To achieve these proposed objectives, a mixed approached research was adopted, qualitative and quantitative, and an action-research was implemented, due to the fact that this researcher was involved in the whole process of creation and implementation of the referred course. In order to collect the data, three instruments were applied, with closed questions. These instruments were created by a multidisciplinary team to approach the issues related to the course. The analysis of the quantitative data was made through statistical process control of variable data, meanwhile the qualitative data were analyzed by the researcher throughout the course. The analysis revealed that the socioeducative system is composed in majority by high educated mixed race women, between 30-40 years old, with 4-7 years of experience in social education. Along the course these workers learned about drugs issues and work with children and teenagers who are addicted to it, but emphasized that they don’t feel prepared to deal with these problems. They agreed that attending courses are always advantageous and improves performance and their work process. Regarding the structure, of the socioeducative system, they considered it reasonable or bad and considered the use of supporting network reasonable. They also ackknowledged the existance of few active agents in the attention net. Finally, satisfaction, efficiency and effectiveness varied between reasonable and bad. Both personal and professionally related to their day to day work. In conclusion, we suggest that knowing the daily routine of these workers should be an academic subject, in order to raising feasible propositions the social education systems quality, regarding the assistance offered to teenagers and the work conditions. We strongly suggest continuing education to enable these workers to perform their jobs, with emphasis on drugs and children and teenagers addiction.
